Talk & Vision opens office in United Kingdom
Talk & Vision is executing on her ambitions to become the European Leader in Visual Communications by opening a new office in the United Kingdom. Within 3 years the videonferencing expert aims to claim a solid market share via a continuous focus on a Front-to-End Service approach, which offers customers a complete outsource of their global videoconferencing installed base to a specialist.
Ray King, a seasoned expert in the videoconferencing industry, will consult Talk & Vision during the setup of the UK office. King brings 32 years of experience in this market and he is a former director of Picturetel. Talk & Vision's sales director Martijn Blokland: "We are very glad to have Ray onboard, his expertise of this market gives us a jumpstart in Europe's most important market."
Talk & Vision steps in at the first consult on how to implement video communication in an organisation, takes care of installation and implementation in offices worldwide and includes remote or physical maintenance of the network of videoconferencing systems in the service approach. On top of that services like setting up conferences or connecting multiple locations via a so called bridge are completing the offering. Talk & Vision's Managing Director Sven Lagerweij continues: "We know for a fact that this approach works. Companies do see the added value of meeting via video in order to save valuable time, but also fear the technology as they are not used to it. For a fast growing customer base, among many UK based, we take it out of their hands and let them enjoy the advantages of the technology whereas we look after the infrastructure and network. Having an physical office in the United Kingdom with local expertise of an industry veteran like Ray King places us closer to market and our existing and new customers."
In past years Talk & Vision opened offices in Leiden-Holland, Belgium and Germany as a part of their international growth strategy and will continue to do so in the coming years. Preparations for a next new office -to be opened in 2008- have started already.
The exact location of the office will be in Hillswood Business Park, Chertsey, close to London and will accommodate full demo facilities. Moreover, it is close to the offices of partners like Polycom and Tandberg.
